Rhea is one of our valued brooddoes and is an important piece of our LaMancha influenced Experimental breeding program. She is a similar Oberhasli breeding with a different LaMancha twist as our matriach Pandora, dam to GCH Pangea and GCH Moxxi. We have used Rhea not only fast tracked to influencing Oberhasli (via son Dionysus) but also as a fun option to breed Alpine or LaMancha. (The latter gave us beautiful bucks but no does).

Rhea easily earned her LA EX 91 EEEE (03-02) in 2019 for her incredible balance and correctness in general appearance. She has an extremely strong back with beautiful width and flatness. She stands on beautifully straight feet and legs with strong pasterns and is one of those does that just easily glides around. Her mammary system is productive (she's one of our heaviest milkers) and has extremely soft texture. I always think of Rhea is a true dairyman's doe and her daughters follow in her footsteps.

LaManchas have given our Experimentals a foundation in milk production and structural correctness and Rhea is a testament to that. She will continue to live a relaxing life retired from the showring, but hopefully we'll get a few more daughters to add to our herd.
